I've eaten here half a dozen times in the last month, but today will be my last. I ordered something I hadn't tried before off the menu. It was awful, I couldn't eat it, but I'll chalk that up to my general aversion to Midwest cuisine. I casually asked the waitress to bring us another appetizer which I enjoyed. I put the original plate with two bites out of it on the table's edge. The waitress came to clear the plate and asked if I wanted a box, I told her no thank you. A this point I am still satisfied although a little miffed the waitress didn't ask about the uneaten meal. As my lunch companion is eating her meal, she sees a fly legs upon her plate mixed in with the veggies. I posted a photo for other yelpers. She pushed the plate to the side. The hosted came by and asked to clear plates/glasses. We showed her the fly. She said "all I can do is say I'm sorry" which struck as a a strange response almost like it was rehearsed. We stopped eating. No one asked about our meal at the register, but in suspect they knew how we felt. I did not get loud, create a scene or ask for anything. I even left a good tip. But I won't go back.

Outstanding! Couldn't find much info online but this is a place that wuold do well in any setting. Great soup, appetizer and steak. Chef obviously wants to please and works hard to bring real food to small city America. Not afraid of anything on the menu. Will be back many times. Sean F

Good food, good service, and yummy pie/cheesecake selection. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals. They were price right, tasted good, and arrived quickly. The only bad thing on the plate was the garlic bread, it was so hard it was inedible, but I wasn't that interested in it anyway. Kid's meals were very inexpensive, I think my daughter's hot dog was like $2.75. We ordered a key lime pie and oreo explosion pie to go and they were both really good! If we're ever in Storm Lake again we would eat here again.

This is a favorite spot of mine. When meeting the in-laws half way for dinner this is the place we go. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The wait staff is fast and friendly with a family type of feel. When looking at the menu you will be amazed by the selection of item. The must have if you can make room after the generous portions is the cheesecake.

This is a great little place. The service was fast and friendly. The bar was complete and served up a good martini. The menu is extensive with steaks, burgers, Italian, and Mexican. I had a great Ruben and yes, the cheesecake is wonderful.

So far my favorite place to dine in Storm Lake. We have enjoyed quiet little getaway dinners and whole family meals and we always get great service. The desserts are something that you must save room for.

Decent food. Friendly service. Very inexpensive kid's menu. $2.25 for a kids burger! Would not go out of my way, but not a bad choice if you are in Storm Lake.

I think Boz-Wellz is a real find in Storm Lake. Located downtown, one street off the main drag, Boz-Wellz is a great spot for lunch or dinner. I ate here three times over the course of two 3-day visits to Storm Lake on business. On my first visit I was quite surprised to I admit to my fellow diners that the Reuben was had one of the best I've ever had. On a subsequent visit for an early dinner I had the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. The breading was homemade and fresh, and the tenderloin itself was nearly three times as large as the sandwich bread. I was also impresssed by the selection of imported beer, both on tap and in the bottle. I did not expect to see Samual Smith in a restaurant in Storm Lake, Iowa, but there you go. In sum, Boz-Wellz has fresh, delicious food, a large variety of items on the menu, clean decor, and friendly staff. I look forward to another visit.

Decent food, but not my favorite in town. The cheesecake is the bomb though.

Not great service but food and drinks make up for it. I had their prime rib special sandwich with black pepper mayo. It was so good, good bloody Mary's! Small atmosphere but great food makes you come back!

In town for work, this place had the best reviews on Yelp. Other reviews must have been written by employees or friends. First I came early evening to avoid a crowd. Definitely no crowd. Servers were polite bar tender never said a word to any customer. Odd. I ordered the chicken Parmesan, menu said it was home made sauce, tasted like a Prego imitation. Would not order again, then having just the chicken parm, and a coke the bill was 18$. Asked for a menu to confirm prices after they swiped my card. Got an attitude for questioning the bill. I left.

Boz-Wellz was generally my place of choice while residing in Storm Lake. They have a great variety in their menu and the food is pretty good! The BEST part of this restaurant is the dessert! Ask for the homemade ice cream!

Ate here for lunch with a small group. Service was good and prompt. Had the cranberry chicken salad sandwich and the steak and cheese soup. Both were wonderful. Everyone in the group enjoyed their lunch.

Went with a party of 8 out-of-town visitors and we were really happy with our meals. The porkloin special was great, the pasta w/ sausage was great, the corn chowder was great, and the beer list was really solid. Salmon was ok, otherwise everything was really good. I would definitely go back.

Family friendly. Cool atmosphere. Pitcher beer. Frosty mugs. Limited wine list. Nightly specials, crab stuffed salmon today. Kids enjoyed Shirley Temples.
